It's no secret that superhero team ups equal box office success. But with complications due to rights and ownership issues, some of these comic book dream teams become a legal nightmare when it comes to making movies. But could we see Wolverine, Iron Man, Spider-Man, and all of The Avengers together on the big screen? In a recent interview with Collider, the Wolverine himself, Hugh Jackman, said that he'd love to see a mega-superhero fight, and that he's up for the challenge. The actor also said he's talked to studio heads to gauge the likelihood of this possibility, who've said "it's not going to be easy." But Jackman remains optimistic, saying he " finds it almost impossible that there's not a way to bring Iron Man, all the Avengers characters, Wolverine, the X-Men characters, Spider-Man, and somehow get them in together." Whether or not you're chomping at the bit to see all these characters on screen together, we will get to see Wolverine in theaters in just a few days, when James Mangold's "The Wolverine" hits theaters on July 26th and again in next year's "X-Men: Days of Future Past" where we'll get to see the character stuck in the 70's. In an interview with MTV News, Hugh Jackman revealed we'll have some super retro mutton chop action to look forward to in the time bending installment of the X-Men franchise where parts of the movie take place during the Nixon Administration. So what are you most excited for? The possibility of a superhero-mutant team up on the big screen? Seeing "The Wolverine" later this month? Or Nixon-era mutton chops?
